Introduction

ECOCEANE’s core business is exclusively in research, development, construction and marketing of vessels, for which it holds patents, for sweeping hydrocarbons and solid waste floating in the sea.

Our organisation has its own engineering design office and a naval dockyard which specialises in aluminium construction.

The primary tasks of our dockyard and our engineering and design office are to be a research and development laboratory specialising in manufacturing and testing.

Prior to setting up ECOCEANE, a study of the existing resources for combating marine pollution established that:

“Despite the considerable resources used, the quantities of hydrocarbons recovered remains low, or even non-existent, because of the emulsion phenomenon, whatever the power of the pumps used“ ECOCEANE’s innovative technology is capable of recovering all types of solid or liquid floating pollution (hydrocarbons, plastics, algae, etc.)

Our capabilities cover ports, the littoral, lakes and rivers and extend to ocean-going operations.

Our concept is installed on all our boats, from 7 to 25 metres, each being tailored to a specific environment.

During the recent pollution of the Gulf of Mexico, 9 of our boats were working in the area at the request of the American Authorities.
