MONITORING, SPILL RESPONSE AND CLEAN UP ON THE HIGH SEAS

Specially designed to monitor the high seas and for spill response and clean up,SPILLGLOP 180, 250 and 400 are available round the clock to intervene in an oilpollution incident. The pollution clean up equipment on board is an integral part of thestructure of these vessels.

The personnel is always protected, as the vessel has:

  • Filtered air supply
  • Pressurised living quarters• Gas detectors

The oil recovery performance is without equal

  • 150 M3/hr hydrocarbons collected, without creating an emulsion, at 4/5 knots andin force 6/7
  • Continuous transfer to bunker barges which work in rotation giving unlimitedrecovery capacity
  • Keel cooling system which allows safe working in a hydrocarbon environment
  • Dispersant tank integrated with spraying arms on board
  • Able to work round the clock
  • Oil detection radar system
  • Floating boom deployment reel
